I have a friend who was raped and kept her children twins in fact. She loves them very much. Besides many abortions occur because un-responsible adults and teens cannot even comprehend abstinence or protection. Now if it's at the point where having a baby can kill you then go through with it as soon as possible before the heart begins beating. I don't mind that. But plenty of people will take the baby if the real parents don't want it.
But thats just your friend, lots of woman are different. I dont think its the best choice once the heart has started beating, but i guess if the woman carrying the child thinks its the best thing for her, then it must be the best thing. I'm more pro choice than just for abortion i guess.
Hey your opinion is your opinion and I respect that. And yeah I understand, it just makes me said that destroying life or life that has potential is a choice now, it's suddenly "okay." Just saddens me is all.
My opinion is always valid. Whether based upon religion or not just like yours. I do believe babies come from God, but I also thought the baby was super cute. Who could get rid of a face like that?
Okay, sorry. Your opinion is valid. What I said was harsh. But you know that a baby isnt even a human until the third month or so. After that, I'll agree that it's wrong. And all animal's babies are cute, yet you're happy to kill them by the millions every day just to eat a hamburger or to have some " fun" hunting. Isn't that a bit hypocritical?
Sorry but DNA tells a different story. Thats a real misconception about babies in the womb. Just because you can't see it doesnt make it human. It's just as human as it's own parents. Look i'm not taking babies and eating them. Neither am I eating baby animals. I wish I could be a vegetarian but as you might know it's hard not to eat meat. It's something that most of us were brought up to do.
Then tell me why many babies survive their first month. A first day or two a woman doesnt even know the baby is there. You can't abort something you don't know about.
Finding out and then aborting something inside of you poses great risk. Some or a lot of teenagers and adults get abortions and then exhibit behaviors such as regret, depression and sometimes suicidal thoughts because of their decisions.
What happens if your body can't hanlde having the baby? Or you cant even afford to have it. Maybe the woman simply choses that its best for her. Plus, in the first 6 weeks, its only an egg. But once its heart starts to beat it is a baby, and i personlly wouldnt get an abortion, but if its the best thing to do, then why shouldnt it be done?
Oh, please with medical technology they can save the baby and the mother..All that crap is a cope out..No, the problem is we got a society that doesn't respect life!! What we are doing is no different from what Hitler did in Nazi Germany..Just kill off the unwanted and the undesirable? I got a Downs daughter and 9 out of 10 are aborted..me and my wife did not take the coward's way out!!

Because it's a person it's human. The only thing protecting a baby is the mother, a mother gives away what she is protecting then of course it will get hurt or die. Babies arnt invincible ya know.
I just wanted to say birth control is only 99% effective and condoms around only 66% they aren't always going to be fully "protected" You can't possily blame people for having sex, it's our nature. Just because someone has sex doesn't mean that a baby is involved. Many couples don't want kids, but deserve every right to be intimate which eachother.
The point that even when people wear condoms and are on birth control you can't prevent people from getting pregnant. And many many people should NOT have children.

I just do not support destroying life because someone had no responsibility. Sex comes with risk so man or woman up and deal with it.
Edit: up until the 90's, some trojans were still made with lambskin, which was known to be a very porous material, and as a result, those types of condoms were not nearly as effective at preventing pregnancy as ones made with latex. But today, most if not all condoms are latex, I believe.
I don't think that anyone is really "for it". But, I believe in a right to choose. Personally I can not see myself getting an abortion but I also believe that it is not my job to deside what is best of other people and their lives. Hope that makes sense.
