I'm not scared of them but I must admit, over the weekend, in the middle of the night, there was a crack of thunder so loud that it woke me up and I was shaking in my bed. It was so unexpected that it scared me!

I do have a nephew that is scared of lightning, thunder and even the sound of the wind. I always think about him during a storm because I can picture him running to my sister and his dad crying about how scared he is. Poor baby! I hope he outgrows it. If you can see him when it is windy...he won't go outside!

I don't mind them, though I would rather not fly through them. I've been in some bad ones on planes, even been hit! That will put some perspiration beads on your lip.

They did when I was younger, but the thunder is not what is scary, Its the possibility of a tornado is what makes one nervous. Just stay in out of it if hail is involved.
