I'll just deal with it when it comes. Though I'm not looking forward to it. I had ross river fever once and that made me feel like a 20 yr old trapped in an 80 yr old body. Not looking forward to pain and exhaustion but I will deal with it.
I am not afraid of it really, I do worry about how bad my fibro will be when I get there. Getting old is inevitable nothing I can do but keep movie forward.
I'm not afraid of aging, but I'm terrified of becoming frail and being taken advantage of by a care provider or anyone if I can't get out of bed and care for myself.
Yes actually....though not selfishly. I want to always be able to do things then as I do now and I never want any sort or arthritis...or lose my memory..or hemorroids. D:
And I just hope my hair turns all white not grey.... :p
I am happy each day I wake up, I don't fear aging, it's one of those things that can't be avoided so it's best to just be grateful each day we do have :)
Having fun and doing things you love to the maximum is good. Excessive drinking and lack of sleep are the types of things that will make you old before your time... That is why there are 80 year olds running marathons and 50 years old dead from living too much good life.
Heavens no!! I am a senior and truly appreciate the life I've lived! It was great being a kid in the 50's and a teenager in the 60's. I wouldn't trade those years for anything nor would I want to be a young person now. I feel for the younger generations that will never experience what America was like during those times. Yes, we had our problems but I truly believe ppl took responsibility for their actions and their lives then as opposed to what we have going on now. We had a lot more consideration and feeling for one another then. Now it's me me me. BTW age is a frame of mind. If you were raised in the woods by wolves and didn't know when you were born how old would you guess yourself to be now??
Me:I want you to play this on my 64th birthday.
WHEN IM 64.
And I just hope my hair turns all white not grey.... :p
