Well ..
I believe it is already a foregone conclusion ..
as my daughter stated to her class some years ago ..
MOM is already 'ancient' ..
(ah .. got to love kids .. especially when you are OLD-er when you have them in the first place.)
NOW it is up to me to enjoy the process .. since my children are now ADULTS .. grown .. and I'm living the REST of my LIFE now .. as I choose to ENJOY IT!
no not really. as we get past a certain age it is natural for people to wonder what will happen 10/20/30 years down the line but around 55/60 you realise that time is an unstoppable juggernaut so the best thing to do is go along with it and enjoy your retirement. i, myself am able to as i am fit enough. i have been lucky with my health but there are those who havent. i have a friend who is 20 years my junior and he has a cancer in his bladder region. it's been cut out twice now and he has to go again next week for another "cut". apparently there are only so many times this can be done and then it's a matter of time.......none of us knows what is around the corner........
Maybe, lol...I don't think our first gray hair bothers guys too much since no one's ever complained to me about that, but hair thinning and losing hair is a huge issue...i hope that's one gene I'm missing :)
Yes, I have always been afraid of getting old, I am so independent and active the thought of me one day NOT being able to take care of myself is frightening.
There are tons of people in their 80s and 90s taking care of themselves just fine. If you live as healthy a lifestyle as possible, you stand a lot better chance of being among the independent than the debillitated seniors you're worried about becoming ;)
Sincerest wishes that the medical professionals helping you do their practical best with the knowledge they have at hand. I really do care for your success in kicking this. Stay as strong with as positive an attitude as you can muster because that counts for an awful lot, honestly. Kind regards.
I have arrived, and I am blessed. All of my life no one has ever thought that I'm as old as I am, young men are cracking on me, older men are intimidated by me. Aging is another phase of life, and if you're blessed you'll reached that stage as well.
Not by the look of your avatar you aren't. What's with those huge azz ears? And it looks like you could stand to give the booze a rest and lose a few pounds
and i thought we were getting closer, how about you putting your picture up here lets all have a laugh, nice chatting again...you make my day.as usual, your fun to play with.....
