I am a little bit. I'm scared of dying in itself. I just don't want to be in major pain and knowing this is it. I'd rather just not know at all.

No. I have been in alot of pain for the past 14 years so no I'm not afraid to die. I don't want to right now but if it happens it happens. I figure if there is a God which I believe there is I will feel no pain with Him and if there happens not to be a god then when I die I will no longer feel my pain. Either way the pain stops. I do fear for my family as I don't want to lose any of my children or my wife before it's my time to go.

Its the pain of dying that scares me. I'd happily die pain free right now if it meant I didn't have to suffer in the future:)

Once it happens there's really nothing anyone can do anyway so it is what it is. I've been there twice in my life. Really nothing more than a gateway to another life both times I turned back I was not ready to meet the new world. I still have to much to accomplish in this life before moving on. I can say this though sadness is not part of the other side those emotions are only felt on this side of the gate. We will all go there someday what I've seen of the other side is very peaceful. Don't believe me? Think I'm nuts? good.

actually, once we're born there's nothing anyone can do. we're gonna die.
as to thinking you're nuts - - I don't, that's certain.
though I haven't been there myself yet - I've read all the Raymond Moody books and the people he interviewed all said the same thing you do.
