Are you a workplace whiner? If so, could you go a week without complaining about your job?

The only whining I'm doing is for a job, which I haven't had since this administration got into office.

I'm not a constant whiner, I'm more of a bitcher! My job is the best example of all the failures of socialism...I work for the USPS.

Sometimes, but for a good reason. Actually, I prefer to act against injustice instead of whining - I have been intervening several times with the help of our syndicate to defending colleagues who had to suffer from bad working conditions and mobbing.

I don't whine about my job because I like my job. Sure, some things about it are kind of irritating, but overall, it's peachy.

I don't complain much. Things could always be worse. And yes, I could go for long, long time without whinning or complaining!

There are too many things wrong about where I work.
THE LATEST IS, THEY ARE CHANGING ALL THE SHIFTS TO 12 HOURS MANDATORY AND YOU HAVE TO WALK 11 HOURS NON STOP. Can you walk 12 hours in 90+ degree weather, non stop?

I'm not a whiner, but I do admit I will complain every now and then. I have to answer phones all day, and not everyone who calls is the nicest person.

I so wish I was allowed to do this.

I work for myself I can manage all my job on my cell, and be on my own for as long as I intend! I have a set-up that works for me. A little less profit not a issue for me! Instead of paying for a person I prefer paying on job work basis !

Doubtful. I am not currently working, but in the past, I'm sure I couldn't make it an entire week without some complaint. There is always something. Work can be hell, sometimes.

I just want to add, it is "Yes" - to being a whiner".. BUT I clicked "No", to the question, though, about "getting through the week". The way it is stated might confuse answers or maybe just me. : )

Here is the thing though. I don't whine but many times I get overlooked. So is it better to be a whiner and get noticed or just be a good employee and not complain and continue to be overlooked?

I think it's weak to complain about anything. My advice to anyone is always imagine you're a giant tor of granite on Exmoor.
