I am and I'm not. When someone else is cooking for me, I'll eat what's on the plate. But at a restaurant, I've obviously made my own personal selection. Likewise when I purchase groceries...I don't buy anything I have to actually cook, since I do not know how. Lots of bread and butter and mayo, not much meat or vegetables.
Many normal foods I hate, like pizza. It's hard to find food I love, but when I do like a dish, I will happily eat it breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a month.
Yes, and I'm ashamed of it :'(
but I can't help it... When I eat certain food I don't like, its not like "I don't like it but I can still chew and swallow", I have to throw up right away....
I would love to know a cure for this...
Not at all. I wasn't blessed with a mother who could cook. if I got non expired food, I was thankful. I came home for the weekend and my mom has less groceries than my dorm room. Not even milk.. People at my college complain about the dinning center. To me it's like gourmet meals every day!!! And I've actually lost weight because now I eat more properly and don't feel the need to snack as much.
I'm not "picky", per se, but there are things that I just can't eat. I'll try just about anything once but there are things I'll never try again. Liver, eel are two such things. Blech!
i wont eat anything with corn syrup, HF corn syrup, carageenan, tara gum, guar gum, ploysorbate 80, artificial sweeteners, disodium phosphate, mono sodium glutamate, sodium aluminum phosphate, FD &C; colors, titanium dioxide and like 200 other toxic ingredients you find in your food that i cant remember without seeing....oh and im vegetarian too so that doesnt help
I can be. It really depends on the meal itself and what it's comprised of. I'll try just about anything once, though I'll usually pick over little details of my food or get fussy about certain parts of the meal after that.
But not within certain lines. Basically anything that's fish, vegetable, fruit, fungus, dairy, or grain. I won't shy away from new things, but no bacon, please!
Being known as picky isn't a positive. Picky means close-minded.

Needless to say, I'm excited for Thanksgiving! :D
