I try to be a compassionate person. I do care about others as well as where we are headed in this country. I see way too many folks on this site with the " I have mine" attitude and I find it repugnant.

I use to help and donate, but I'm not working, and health issue, so I can't help, now I feel hurt sometimes, because I feel since I can't help out, it seems they are mad at me.
Maybe its just me.

I get great joy out of giving. Always have, always will. I can honestly say -- even if you don't believe it because it doesn't sound true -- that I would much rather give than receive. And I'd like to think that I've proven that fact in real life. But it doesn't matter to me if you believe me, because I am not out for rewards or anything like that. Giving is its own reward. Love making people happy!
