Intimate relations in the work place will most likely turn out to be a disaster as co-workers will start to gossip, management will get involved and if the relation breaks up the work environment becomes difficult. Best beat, stay away from it.

If both of you can be mature about it and know the risks, why not? Since I work in construction, it's a little more common and easier to do.

The 'passion' may cool, and feelings can often change drastically, but both parties will still need to make a living.

I said no because I seen it happen myself, my friend started dating a guy we worked with, when things went bad he had everyone there turned against her, she was shunned and bullied while he played the innocent victim, it got so bad for her that she ended up having to leave because of it. If I were single I'd never date a workmate after what I seen happen to her.
