I meant to check "Disagree". We are the most tolerant country when it comes to welcoming immigrants. However, many new immigrants, especially those from Muslim countries are exceptionally intolerant about our way of life. They want to keep to themselves, do not assimilate with the locals as well as the other immigrants who want to be Americans and they want us to respect their religion as well as their old way of life. Many of their children do become Americanized but it would not be an easy transition.
I would have preferred an "Other" option. I lived in America for the first 12 years of my life. My parents were in the diplomatic corps. I was aware that the United States is one of the most insular western democracies. Proportionally far less of it's citizens have been to another country, and so are largely ignorant of other cultures. However it does have a diverse immigrant population, but unlike other nations cultural diversity is much less. This may be due to how Americans perceive themselves, and what it means to be an American. That's only my opinion.
The latest estimates are that 11%-15% of Americans have passports, compared to 80% of Europeans on average. 83% of UK residents have passports and a similar percentage have been to another country, most to more than 3 different countries.
Even out of those Americans who own a passport most have used them to travel to either Canada or Mexico which share a border. The U.K. is the highest-ranked overseas destination for Americans, followed by the Island of Ireland, Northern Ireland as well as the Irish republic. So the cultural diversity experienced is limited.
So to the question itself "Are United States Citizens The Most Intolerant To Other Countries and Cultures?". I would summarize by saying that they do exhibit some degree ...

So to the question itself "Are United States Citizens The Most Intolerant To Other Countries and Cultures?". I would summarize by saying that they do exhibit some degree of intolerance, but that is in no way unique to America. Whether it is more intolerant it's a case of how others see Americans. It's media definitely seems to be more hostile to other cultures, or at least a section of it's media, and that is how most people get there information about America.
I'm a citizen of the US & I see/hear it daily...
Personally, I don't think there is one country that is most tolerable in comparison with other countries.
Americans are probably the most tolerant people in the world. I have visited and lived in dozens of countries and all of them are very strict about respecting their cultures and very intolerant of American ideology. Go to just about any mideast country and see how tolerant they are regarding the practice of your religion. Go to Japan and it's easy to find signs everywhere no Americans allowed. Come to America and we welcome you with open arms and bring your culture along. On the flipside when foreigners came to America at the turn of the last century they were eager to learn everything about the USA. Forcing their children to learn English. You won't find that today.

But I guess that's not necessarily the citizens though...
I do think we're some of the most ignorant though, or maybe that's just a person trait.
