Are These the World's Greatest Ice Cream Vendors?

Yes I love ice cream choc choc chocolate caramel.

They're cool but Mr. Tastee is way better.

It just so happens that I was the greatest ice cream vendor ever. I was known as "The Dancing Chipwich Man" across the street from the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum in 1982.

If you ever saw me dancing - nearly 8 hours a day! - when you visited there, it was me on Independence Avenue near Maryland Avenue.

My antics nearly tripled the sales. People crossed the street solely to buy my ice cream - bypassing vendors on the A&S; museum side of the street

Then the owner wouldn't give me a raise, so I stopped dancing and later quit. Sales went back down to previous levels. He wasn't very smart to let his best vendor slip through his hands. He should have notified the TV stations instead to get even more sales.

I hope not!

They found a good way to grab people's attention, which is the hardest part of street selling.

You eat the icecream that he's holding in his warm hands while dancing around. I'll eat the one in the freezer box at the store. Personal preference.... I hate getting a frozen treat that's a mushy melted mess.

yes I'd love to buy icecream from them. My boys used to wait very impatiently for the icecream man when they were young. These men are providing a service to the people around them and sharing their God given talents.

Wow! Would definitely make me want ice cream.

I only get my Ice Cream out of a truck with tacky music.

All we have to is recommend these vendors to Dr. Hannibal Lechter of "Silence of the Lambs." When he gets done consuming them, the rest of us will get free ice cream. LOL !
