Are These Pre-Peeled Bananas the Stupidest Grocery Store Move Ever?

I didn't think it was possible to be this stupid... but apparently, a grocery store in Germany went there. The store peeled some bananas and then wrapped them up in plastic wrapping. WHY?!?! The banana peel is nature's way of providing your fruit with protection. Le sigh.

    I'm not that lazy and I wouldn't buy these; however, they did that so that they could sell the bananas that had already begun to turn brown on the outside. That's why some of them have the ends cut off too; they had probably turned brown there as well. It's a way to maximize profits and minimize waste. I suppose people would buy them to use in Smoothies or recipes.

    They'd be all brown and mushy by the time you bought them or ate them. Disgusting!

    I thought I hit the epitomy of laziness when I bought pre-diced onions.... now... I know there is room to grow....

    Doesn't top Pre-chewed meat though.... that's a hard one to beat....

    I've seen 3 packs of potatoes wrapped in foil so people can just throw them in the oven. They charge about $4 for it too. You can get a 1lbs bag for less. If someone is that lazy, then they deserve to get ripped off.

    It's cheaper to actually buy a bag of potatoes and a pack of foil than it is to buy those if you're feeding more than one person.

    They have anti-fungal and antibacterial qualities and can be used to treat a multitude of skin ailments. Polish silver, leather, dissolve splinters, etc...of course I compost them as well.

    It's smart not because I hate peeling bananas, but because it allows the store to sell "ugly" bananas which still look good inside.

    Thats pretty lazy to buy pre peeled bananas, and they probably charge twice the amount. They probably dont last that long
