I think I may have encountered one, somewhere along the way, but I don't recall which one it was. Most movies made from books do not come close.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy was pretty good. I also liked the film adaptations of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Dead Man Walking.

I'm funny I guess I loved the LOTR movies but I think the books where far better.

To each their own, I guess. I also watched the movies before I read the books, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Possibly because I do the oppoisite and read the books then watch the movie.
