Are the upcoming elections on the federal level distracting people from local government?

I just found out that a small town of, Harpersville, Alabama is under investigation that city employees are also under investigation for embezzlement. I got a phone call that one lady has already been arrested. I know that we ar trying to focus on the national level and the quality of service that we hope to receive but I am also wondering about the quality of service people will receive locally across the USA during these times.

I live in another small town, it is another little town in Alabama. Some friends of mine. told me that they would vote for me if I would run for city Council in the small town where I live. so after some discussion and investigation, I decided that it was not worth putting up the money and wasting my time. it is better to watch from the sidelines, than to be right in the middle of a dog pen

I know this to be a fact because I've dealt with this town before.Talk about crooked cops,these are really bad.

I am just wondering why the locals must continue to show their asses when I would really like to concentrate on who I would like to vote for as president of the United States. kind of reminds me of trying to celebrate Christmas but really couldn't when family members got as drunk as a bicycle.

I think the reason some of the local police departments get by with so much is because there's bigger issues on peoples minds today and their over looked.But,luckily this police department got caught and within time they will pay for the wrong they've done.

I was talking to my neighbor across the street, and even though they are good law abiding people, they do not agree with the communication skills of our local police. acting as if they were above the citizens. Lol
