Okay so I know the legal definition of a child is under 18, but I am. curious as to youre own opinions. Im asking for you're view in two regards...

a) mentally
b) physically

    Okay so this only applies to 13-18. I'm saying no because I feel there is a substantial growth during puberty in both respects, that separates them from being a child.

    a) I feel that most teenagers are immature but they don't have the same mental capacoty of a child
    b) I agree with wikipedia that biologically a child is a human from birth to start of puberty. I know this can be as early as 8 in some cases but just so we are clear for me 'd say around 13 or 14 is when biologocally a human could be mistaken for an adult, not 8!

    Many people over 18 are still children in some regards. People do not stop maturing in many ways until around the age of twenty five. Add that to the fact lack of experience often results in childish behavior until one reaches an age well past their teens. Not saying it is a rule in all cases, but it holds true for most.
