The dog isn't the one at fault. The owner is... If you don't train the dog at an early age of course it's going to be out of control. I have two dogs one is a black lab and the other is a dingo mix. They are really big dogs but once you train them they are harmless. Unless you do something out of line when it's protecting it's owner. But anything other then that they should be fine.

Some individual dogs are bad for kids. However, I do not base this by breed. Though you should watch young kids with smaller dogs since they can hurt them.

Also, puppies are not always good to raise with young kids since they tend to nip.

It all goes into the upbringing of a dog. It doesn't matter whether it's a pitt or not. As long as it is brought up in a loving enviorment, then that will reflect on how the dog behaves the rest of its life.

    Dog - Canis familiaris

    Wolf - Canis lupus

    Hyena - Crocuta crocuta

Dogs and wolves are in the canis family, but wolves are not domestic dogs and domestic dogs are not wolves. Hyenas aren't even in the canis family.

Any carnivorous animal of the dog family. This includes the domestic dog, hyenas, coyotes and wolves to name a few of the members of the Canidae family.

I'd like to think not, but I'm not sure. Wild dogs are naturaly agressive, and domestic dogs do drive from them. So it is possible, but how they are treated plays a big part.

No it's the owners responsibility to make sure their dogs behave and wild dogs are just doing what they have to do to protect themselves
