It's a wonderful thing that people get to express themselves as individuals in our society... but something is out of control.Parents need to teach their children better discretion if they are able.Of course the parents could be the problem not the kids.Where are the role models for these little girls.Teachers,athletes,firem... siblings?...no they're on TV and in magazines.In movies.Anything that is eye appealing and fast food related gets more attention than what's real in advancing these kids towards a chance to be normal.Marketing keeps dumbing down lower and lower and gets aimed at younger and younger groups.This doesn't help either.It's a wonder in todays world if kids have a normal childhood these days. It seems some of them are portraying themselves as more of an adult than adults do.Some of these little girls are being set up for some big problems when they get older...if they're not experiencing them already!This is a very good question that creates more questions that are deeper seeded than meets the eye.I spent way too much time on this.It just further supports my belief in running for the hills away from this strange world we live in!Maybe the world should run away from me.
OMFG YES!!! I'm glad I had a boy or I'd be in jail for abuse if I had a daughter that let others influence her to be like these girls of today. Or I'd just take her to an orphanage. Don't get me started about if she got pregnant... The girls of today will be future host on the show 16 and pregnant. SHOULD be 13 and pregnant because I've been seeing the age drop so much.
i dont get it!!! do they want their daughters to be rapped and molested??? and then the parents have the nerve to try and get mad if an older man looks at them. I mean Hello you have been dressing them and allowing them to dress like a mini prostitute since 2, what did you expect?
I saw a Mother with her Daughter at Target last week, The child was 7 years old and had makeup, lipstick, eyeliner. mascara and blush. The Mother told me she loves to wear makeup to school, to church and even to bed! I just wanted to smack her silly!
Don't even get me started on the Tieras n Toddlers show or any pageant like that....
Not judging the pageants, BUT little girls should be judged on being a little cutie pie... not on adult make-up and clothes that show their figures. There are ways to hold these pageants without the make-up, diva attitudes, and adult style clothing. It scares me to see this and know there are petophiles looking at these babies.
