The lie of the century is that somehow democrats give a darn about anyone but themselves. Obama even knows that you are petty thieves. Biden gives right at 1% now.

Statistically, democrats give far less to charity than republicans.

You never hear thief democrats saying tax me, I want to help others, it is always tax someone else and give me hand outs.

The selfish democrats even cry about paying $9 per month for their own birth control, yet are OK piling debt onto our children to pay for it.

Not to mention, what exactly is moral about murdering innocent children to avoid personal responsibility.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle gave $10,772 of the $1.2 million they earned from 2000 through 2004 to charities, or less than 1 percent, according to tax returns for those years released today by his campaign.



The Obamas increased the amount they gave to charity when their income rose in 2005 and 2006 after the Illinois senator published a bestselling book. The $137,622 they gave over those two years amounted to more than 5 percent of their $2.6 million income.

Mr. Romney's tax-return data showed that he and his wife, Ann, gave about $2.9 million to charity in 2010, and more than $4 million in 2011. That worked out to 13.8% of total income in 2010 and more than 19% in 2011. Those are the only years of returns Mr. Romney's campaign made available.

No surprise that he gave it to the Mormon church when that's what religion he is. Keep in mind, a lot of those charities are tax writeoffs.

He gave most of it to the mormon church, but still gave a few million to other charities.

I know know it's a tax write off, but you still lose money, it's not profitable at all.

Mitt Romney of all people can afford to do something like that. When was the last time he ever did something like Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie have done? Will Romney and all those other self-righteous pro-lifers go and adopt all those children that end up in foster care? I don't think so.

actually I was just replying to your post about Romney giving to the charities of his choice. It seems like its ok for obama to do it but not romney? It seems like you are the one cherry picking.

Romney may have done that, but Obama isn't the one that has all the offshore accounts in several different countries to avoid paying taxes or the long track record of laying off employees and outsourcing jobs. Nice try, but it won't stick.
