... we are expecting our first child at the end of october... we have a few picked out, but we want to see what my fellow Sh'ders have to contribute. it's ok.. have some fun!! this is a happy time... right?

If they're twin girls . . . Harmony and Melody

Got that from a waitress named Harmony.
When I complimented her on her name she said her sister was Melody.
Their parents were musicians . . . 'hippies', she said.

Well Shatilly was inspired by Chanitlly Lace, a Jerry Lee Lewis song! Kelsey was given after I introduced my wife to a friend Kelsey..Shayley was inspired by a personal friend Joe Bancroft..He had a 3 year old Shay that I held at church all the time! My wife decided on Makayla and Maleah!

First Congratulations. Is it a boy or a girl. My daughter's name came from a Sci Fi Fantasy series. It is Jezerey a character in the Crystal Singer series by Anne McCaffrey. When she was little she was not crazy about being the "ONLY" Jezerey but now she thinks she is special

i am a big fan of baby names that come from the ethnic background of the parents and grandparents ... irish-type names for babies of irish heritage; african names for babies of african heritage; and there are lots and lots of names that work really well in all ethnic contexts! If you're name is KPOW, for example, "BamBam" could be good, or "Socko"!!

congratulations on your imminent parenthood!! i have loved being a parent!! it's the best thing ever!!
