What I think is more likely to happen is... That FB will loose its panache... Not unlike my Space did. Most of the younger people I know are doing a lot more "Instagram" these days. I however, am still on FB with all of my mid 30's peers while the youngens are long gone. People are also doing a lot of Pinterest, additionally... Every regular site has a social networking component of its own now. This way you can meet ppl. with more specialized interest. I hate Linked In more than I can express.

I can see it happening. I have a FB account, that just means that I would have to go back to using my e-mail to talk to my family and friends.

I think like anything else it will run it's course. It will probably still be around but only the older peeps will continue to use it while the younger generations will have long since moved on to newer more interesting & exciting things. But then, who knows??

Okay well my computer is going nuts... I meant to choose "doesn't concern me" but i will accept what i have been given.

I do not mind facebook. I love the simplicity of it verus MySpace but just like every other social network, this one will eventually run its course.

I will say this about that, What happened to MySpace? Same thing will probably happen with FB as well and some other social network idea will fill the vacuum that is left with the collapse of FB as FB did to My Space

I hope so. Facebook sold my info to third party advertisers and now I get tons of spam emails and junk mail that I could certainly do without. Besides, the people that are really in my life, know all the important things about me anyway. Nuff Said.....

Either Facebook will re-invent itself, or the analyst has it all wrong. Either way, I use Facebook solely to keep others from using it in my name.

On Saturday I had to try and calm down my 13 year old neighbour because some one had opened an account in her name and the things they were putting on this fake page were disgusting . I keep a very close eye on my daughters page but quite frankly after seeing what happened to my neighbours girl I could gladly do with out it . They even sent messages to her friends that said they were gay or a slut , this is so wrong .

Especially when you hear about kids who have been bullied on FB and then committed suicide because of the hatred and torment they are put through on a daily basis t

I've noticed a trend the past 10 or so years, everything a "so called professional" has predicted was going to happen, it didn't. Their just people and unless they're psychic their guess is as good as mine. They seem to like to stir the pot, get people all worked up, and then nothing happens. Back in 2008 this analyst was on 60 minutes, and according to what he was saying we should all be dead or at least close to it by now. If I was as gullible as I use to be, I would have been freaking out. Now when I hear some goofy news story or prognostication, I take it with a grain of salt. When something happens I'll decide if it bothers me, not before.
