Am I the only one who thinks..."I'm leaving/should I leave SodaHead..." posts are annoying...are you tempted to say..."Just shut up and leave already".

Yes, they make a big deal of it and then they don't leave. lol

they don't really bother me. i guess the reason why people leave this site because it is too much drama and another reason why people leave because they want to start another life. hell i might be leaving this site for good too....

Well, I wouldn't say they annoy me ... but my feeling generally is, "okay, who cares?"

It's kind of narcissistic when people do that -- as if they think other people are thinking about them all the time.

Then sometimes you get the ones where someone posts a question making a big "hey, I'm back!" announcement. Yeah, well, I never knew you were even gone!

"hey you gone yet?" "no a few more days" (you said that 4 days ago) -.-

Just delete the questions in your email for a while and take a break. We'll be here when you feel it's time to return. We'll miss you, but we understand. Sometimes SH can be a high-maintenance bitch.

The only thing annoying to me is that i have to take the time to discard or skip past them..

My first thought would be 'Just shut up and leave already', but If for some reason I would leave, I would like to say 'goodbye'..to some of my friends.

If for some reason I choose to leave, I would want to say some goodbye's also....through SH mail.

I told my friends on SH good-bye a short while ago because I didn't want them to think I had just drifted away or died or some such thing. Got a couple of days R&R; and found I WANTED to be back with my friends.

Why do you think that was such a horrible thing to do? I always see posts such as this doing little more than looking for a fight. I don't really care if people speak up or not, retire or not, etc because I don't try to live other people's lives for them. And I don't want others trying to live my life for me. I feel this is a way of trying to dictate to others.

What does it cost you if I get fed up? What does it cost you if I quit? What does it cost you to let me live my own life as I see fit? What difference should your opinion matter to me? Trust me - I could not possibly care less what a bunch of thoughtless people think about anything I do.

And what does it cost you if I'm fed up. I'm a lot of things, but being thoughtless is not something I am ever accused of being. Seems to me you're making this into something it isn't. A personal attack on you.

Just stay off for a few days. I've been at this point a couple of times. Don't remember if I posted it or not. I think I posted once about slowing down. I don't know. It's easy not to read a post. There aren't so many of them that they're annoying, and they don't need to be read.

Why broadcast it? Just think about it, make up your mind, say personal goodbyes to your friends and then if you want to leave...then do so graciously. I have thought about leaving but haven't broadcasted it because I know in my heart that I would miss some very good friends. So, I stick around.....lol Too many of my good friends left awhile ago and I miss them so much.

If you want to say bye to people you only interact with on this site, create a private group message within the email system with all the people's name (open up a second tab so you can view your list of friends easier) and message them there. Unless you WANT attention from complete strangers and enjoy the cyber tomatoes being thrown.

Have a cup of coffee and rethink I have lost to many good friends on here already, we all ask ourselves this at some point I think some of us leave and some stay you are one of the first good friends I made on here I would miss ya Dar so stick around I need friends to talk to this winter when I am snow bound and bored.
