Attraction is purely attraction. I realized I was bisexual when I was attracted to another woman. I didn't realize too soon because I already knew that I liked boys as well, it just took the right girl for me to realize my potential to be bisexual. That said, you like what you like. I cannot control that I am attracted to either sex just as you probably cannot control what person you find attractive.
And just because you're bisexual doesn't mean that you want both at the same time. Or that you feel deprived without one sex. Most don't. Most are completely monogamous. But when it comes to being in a relationship and falling in love, tt take the right person inside, not the person with the right genitals.
I hope I can make you understand better, but it's difficult when you have no way of experiencing what it's like to be bisexual (:
Anyway, that doesn't bother me. My girlfriend always goes on about how she could never actually go to bed with someone who does have a penis hahaha
