You!

There has been so many times I've seen a picture and wondered who or what it was. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a search engine for pictures? Sorta like Google, but instead you paste or download the image to the search engine, and they tell you everything about it!!...

But it would definitely be a hassle considering the thousands of images on the net,and the ones that have been duplicated.

I tried it and I got this: TinEye looks for the specific image you uploaded, not the content of the image. TinEye does not identify people or objects in an image.
My search engine would be able to identify the people or object in the picture, that's the whole point....

Well, I thought it was close because the links assigned to each picture could give you the site and from there you could find the details. Sorry it wasn't what you were looking for. I did add it as an extension for my browser because it was able to find the source of a picture.

"alt tags" are a way to describe an image as well as "file name". google margarita in google images, you will see in one image with a black background, a worm in a margarita glass(kinda looks like a turd, lol!), scroll over the image and you will see the file name. click the image and in the upper right corner, "website for this image" and the alt tag under it. its just a image I made for my website. Its all about SEO for me and keeping files small for faster loading in browsers. there are possible copyright and privacy issues associated with your request.

Roze! It already does exist. Go here: http://images.google.com/imgh... and click on the camera icon in the search line and follow instructions for pix on your computer or the image URL. Good luck and feel free to consult if you have difficulty. Sort of like a shazam for pix.

Google already allows you to search for images though and you also can look up directions on Google Maps.

You can drag and drop into Google images Roze. You drag it into the search bar and it handles it automatically. I think it also works in the regular Google web search bar as well.

Lol! No, that doesn't work! With Google Images, you put in a word, they give you the picture! I just want to put in a picture, and they give me the info! :D...
