The New York Jets' acquisition of quarterback Tim Tebow created quite the buzz around the sports world last week, especially in the Big Apple.

But some members of the New Jersey Devils refuse to get caught up in Tebowmania.

"I don't care for it," Devils captain Zach Parise told the New Jersey-based Fire & Ice blog. "Why is a backup quarterback having a press conference?"

Over 200 members of the media attended Tebow's press conference on Monday at the Jets' practice facility, after the team acquired the quarterback from the Denver Broncos.

Parise isn't convinced the newly-acquired quarterback is worthy of all the hype.

"I guess you've got to give him some credit for what he did with Denver last year, but they were also winning games 3-0 and 7-3," Parise said. "Let's give the (defence) some credit too. It just seemed like he got all the credit. It's not as if he was picking defences apart. It's getting a little overblown if you ask me."

Love Zach I can not wait till my Senators sign him in the off season .

Tim Tebow is awesome and a real man so that's why it's matters that he has a press conference, besides that Parise is going to the Sharks next season so he won't have to deal with stuff like that next season. Go Sharks!

LOL you wish he will be a Senator .
All I have to say is we have 13million in cap space and 8 will be to sign Parise .
Btw Thank you for 9mm he has worked out so well for us .
