It's hard to believe "American Idol" has been around for nearly a decade, but it's impossible to ignore the effect it's had on the country. Since the show's first season aired in 2002, it's spawned several stars, including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Daughtry. But more than that, it inspired a whole genre of competitive singing reality shows.

Now, in addition to "Idol," we have "The X-Factor" and "The Voice." Each show tries to bring something new to the table, and they've been met with varying amounts of praise and criticism. So, to celebrate the approaching 10-year anniversary of "American Idol," we're pitting it against its competitors and making you the judge.

I hate the AI judge panel (Really went down when Simon left), The X-factor is only good with Simon, and I really like more than half the panel in The Voice ;)

Although American Idol has good judges, they get rid of way too many good people. The Voice just has awesome judges.

Personally I think most of these judges should get out of their chair and make an album or go on tour.

American Idol was bad before and it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse now, and since I said American Idol was bad before that obviously means X Factor is bad now. And The Voice actually has a couple fun people.

Oh my! You mean the all powerful American Idol isn't leading this poll? I usually don't go for these talent shows. But when I heard about A. Christina Aguilera and B. the idea of hearing the contestants before judging them, I was in.

Just love everything about this show the judges and especially the talent and the fact that they r going on ears alone makes it even more awesome=-)

They are so nice that even when the audition is obviously bad, two judges will vote "NO" while the last judge will vote "YES" just to leave a glimmer of hope for the contestant. For some....not all.

I LOVE American Idol's present lineup!!
Am a huge Steven Tyler fan,Love JoLo & Randy's just too funny.
Loved Simon when he was there,and also loved Paula.
Now I Love Christina Agularia,& C Loo Green on The Voice
But don't know Blake Shelton so much~think he be better judging a country version of
American idol or maybe on another show.
X Factor was interesting but I'm not sure I'll be watching it again.

To me The Voice has a better panel of judges. They have a variety of musical talents. Unlike the other two shows.

I just love Simon.he is the most real judge.But frankly I would rather watch Discovery or history Channel.Unfortunately I am out numbered in my household.So Both X factor and idol are watched.That is why I love Books,Magazines and newspapers.So i can occupy my mind with more intellectual pursuits.
