Would You Watch Howard Stern on "American Idol"?

Yes, Howard would be the only one with an opinion. He would tell people that they suck if they do. F all you haters. There is nothing good about American Idol that would be lost. The show has sucked for awhile now. I had high hopes for Ellen because I like her show but she was a huge disappointment. Have a real opinion and stop worrying about PR images. Howard would get it done. The man can filter himself when required. For those who are hating, the fact that you watch a show that is called American "Idol", and that some of you watch it so religiously only shows how F'd up your morals and values are to begin with. Howard doesn't ruin 'family time' you do. GO HOWARD!!!!!!!

The only person who could really take Simon's place is Margaret Hamilton, who is regrettably deceased. Howard does have the hair and the crackling laugh going, but he misses the mark for me.

If Howard Stern joins AI next year, I will no longer be watching that show! AI is and has been one of my favorites since the beginning, but if stern replaces Simon, I am done. Stern is a disgusting excuse for a man!

Absolutely not! Ellen was a nice addition, Howard would take American Idol completely off my list of programs watched. He's a horrible person, and shouldn't be on network television.

No, I may watch the 1st episode, but after that, sadly -I'd have to give up one of my favorite shows. Stern is filthy - not just frank and mean. I believe someone of substance should replace Simon - but not him. His audience is not the AI audience, and he offends most of the AI audience, so I can only see it going down in ratings. You really think the macho man-cave men who like Stern will watch Idol? I think not.

An American family entertainment show would be unwatchable. It would be a sad day for one of the family shows. Why do you think Howard is on radio? And that is just what most American family would do, change channels.

Howard Stern Would tell it like it is and Fox would be number one in no time. Just like the old Howard Stern Radio show was. People hated him but still watch to see what he was going to do next. You all know Simon is the only one on that show that tells people like it is, if they suck! Simon will come right out and tell them. The show needs a new Simon, now really think about this who better then Howard Stern to tell people the truth about how bad they are and I don't think he will be like the Howard we all know and love from the radio on Fox TV. The man made well over $500,000,000.00 all you people talking bull, how much do you make a year, he must be doing something right. You go Stern, I will watch Idol again, because with you on it, I know for a fact it won't be fake. you will make sure of that!.

NO! I think it would disrupt everything good about Idol. I am not a huge Idol watcher but I'd swear off of it for the rest of my life. So would many of my friends. I hope that this is a terrible rumor, that he is even being considered or that his role in Idol is even being discussed makes me question the judgement of the producers of Idol. IF THEY DO IT IT WOULD BE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE!

I love how all the people on that show are so talented and sooooo great, I just love how there really isn't a reason to actually be a musician anymore all you gotta do is pretend to sing like mariah or justin and then the wonderful people at the show decide just how to make us the people listen to this crap and watch it .......making our idols......I don't think i would watch this crap if megan fox's big thumb was the new host and was making out with ellen's giant nose......baaaaaaaaam

I love Howard Stern!!! He has an amazing sense of humor!! He'd make a great judge!!He'd be better than Simon!! If Howard Stern was the next Judge, i think more people would watch American Idol! I'm guessing most of you who think he is a perverted scumbag have never even listened to his show. You just hear the opinion of others and run with it. Howard is real and hilarious. If you don't think your male significant other isn't thinking what Howard is saying, you'd better wake up. I stopped watching AI this season because it's getting so booooring but if Howard joins the judges, I'll definitely tune in. I'll bet he won't be as big of a jerk as Simon, and at least he'll be funny, unlike Simon. Use some hair gel, dude.

I checked NO, but it went to yes for some reason!! here was how I replied to it : Boy, You must be desperate!! You need people with music back ground. Someone with class, like maybe Neil Sedaka, or maybe Barry Manilow. They are seasoned singers and writers.
