Kayla Staskiewicz won a contest allowing her to wear actress Christina Ricci's $25,000 Oscar dress to her high school prom. The long, sparkling, pale gray dress was made for Ricci by Versace.

The Oakland Press of Pontiac reported Sunday that her father, Mike Staskiewicz, entered her name a WDIV-TV contest to win a chance to wear the size 0 dress. Staskiewicz says there was just one question when she learned she'd won: Would it fit? She says on the station's website that she stepped into the dress the day before the prom, and it fit beautifully.

What celebrity hand-me-down would you love to wear?

a $25,000 dress? i'd take it in a heartbeat! who cares if it's used, if it's in a good shape! though i'd probably want a dress that suits me. i'd probably look a little like a corpse in that one, being as pale as i am...

What young girl in her right mind would turn down a $25,000 Versace gown to wear to her prom, even if it IS used? There are charities who take in donated formal dresses to provide to girls who can't afford to buy prom dresses. I think it's a great thing to do, especially in today's economy.

Nothing wrong with hand-me-downs and in this case it was a very expensive hand-me- down.

It depends on the celebrity. The technology to sufficiently decontaminate Lindsay Lohan's hand-me-downs doesn't exist.
