If we're talking about a game that hasn't been the same for the past 6 years, then yes, I would get a Civil War game. Jets are fun to fly in modern settings, but there's nothing like the good 'ol cannons!

I apologize to everyone who thinks COD is not realistic, I dont play too many games and these ones are a lot more realistic than the old N64 games I have or PS2.

There aren't any games that really allow you to play as a single soldier in the war that are very good. The ones I've played have been really short and disappointing in almost every video game aspect.

I'm not a fan of inaccurate weapons that you have to reload after each shot, then it takes multiple shots just to wound one guy.

There were many advances in firearms during that war, including breech loading for faster fire from protected positions and rifeling which vastly improved accuracy.

I've played civil war games just just (barely) filled the niche. I'd love to see someone bring some historians in and make an accurate game!
Preferably from both sides.
I want to go watch God's and Generals now.

Yes

I remember playing a Civil War Nintendo game when I was a kid. It was a blast. And it was nowhere near the complicated or entertaining results that most games these days result in. I'd give it a try for sure.
