A really, really cool gaming chair, but still.
We're a week away from the big E3 video game conference in Los Angeles, and game companies are hustling to showcase their finest hardware and software. But a $1,380 steering wheel set?
From Playseat, the chair, steering wheel and pedal set retails for £839.00 (about $1,380), and is compatible with the popular "DiRT 3" driving game.
Playseat claims the rig "brings gamers the experience of rock solid steering, accelerating and braking without a slippery pedal or the disappointment of a trembling wheel attached to a desk."
Alas, as of this writing, Playseat appears to be sold out of the "Playseat DiRT 3 + Logitech G27," so if you've got that money burning a hole in your pocket, you'll just have to blow it on a frivolity like rent or a mortgage payment.

But that does not me I would not want one. :)
Use the money on more games... and beer.
No, beer and more games.
Skip the games.
Okay I have spent a lot on my computer and I enjoy it. I think I spend a good amount of time doing other things, so I have some balance there. Not that this isn't nifty but this guy has obviously TOO much free time.
