i like the idea of opening up a cafe with a selection of books which you can read with your coffee or cake and have a place to go with friends or alone... really homely :)
i would love that!!!
Actually I really would like to work at a book store.
But only for a part time ob before me real career starts.
I can get books on discount and you know how in cothing stores and such things in the mall people are so prissy and snippy.
Opposed to Borders which people are less obnoxous.
ummm i'd like to work at a bookstore with aa cafe, but it doesnt have to be borders...i dont like second hand book stores because they dont have the full series many times...plus i like the duckie.
I would like to make books more assesible. The new hard backs are way too expensive I think. I usually check a new book at the library then if i really like it i'll buy it and pass it on. my store would be more like a informal liblarary. credits for each book brought in will go to other books that person may want to check out.
I would love to work at a book store but I would get fired or go broke quick. Though I can read and choose to either tune the world out or pay attention to my surroundings at the same time, when I read and the movie starts playing in my head, literally, and I don't want to pause it. I have been told several times by family and friends that my paycheck would be lost immediatly on books.
Any book store would be alright, but I would soon be homeless, because I have an obsession with books. I have a list of 7 I need to get, and 300+ that I need to read...and I am reading Harry Potter for the 11th time.

yes i would love to work at a bookstore, one that gets me involved with the customers and lets me read, since i'm planning on becomming a librarian and hopefully opening my own bookstore one day this would be great!
I would love to work at a bookstore. I dont' really care what kind. I'm planning on working in a bookstore part time while I'm in university if anyone would hire me. And I could still end up running a bookstore in the future. xP
I would love to work at a second hand bookstore because they are so cozy and filled with so many books that you spend hours in them! Or I would work at the B&N; by my house because it smells like coffe and makes I'm surrounded by brand new books!
Just thinking of discounts here. I'm more of a library person. Don't like to risk money on books I won't like- Twilight springs to mind. Once burned, twice shy.
Now is a bad time to try to work at Borders; they are having a lot of financial trouble and it is putting a lot of pressure on the management and employees. I would suggest Barnes and Noble or an independent bookstore :-)
