Sure, the Summer Olympics are awesome. But not long from now, they'll come to a close and then what can we watch?
Three words: Honey Boo Boo.
The outspoken, outrageous breakout star from Toddlers & Tiaras now has her own show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, and it debuts Aug. 8 at 10 p.m. ET – just in time to transition into your post-Games TV drought.
In this exclusive clip, we meet 6-year-old H.B.B. (aka Alana) and her self-professed "cra-zyfamily," including her father, nicknamed 'Sugar Bear.'
In addition to pageants, this sneak peek offers a look at the other activities in which the family takes part – mud and amle bellies the common theme among them.
Let us know in comments: Will you be tuning in to Here Comes Honey Boo Boo?
Not that this family cares what you think. "We like to be ourselves," says Mama Boo Boo in the clip. "You like us or you don't like us. We just don't care. We love our little life and we're having fun doing it."
The original show was vomit-inducing enough so watching this is a big no. Those mothers should be horsewhipped and the fathers forced to grow some balls for allowing their stupid wives to exploit their little girls that way.
Ok seriously i wanted to rant about this disgusting show and the "talent" contest
It is disgusting awful and those parents should be beaten to an inch of death
The sad thing is half of those kids look like they want to die
Why is this legal?!!
It's hard to believe that the TLC or “The Learning Channel” was founded in 1972 by the Department of Health, Education and Welfare and NASA to provide education thru tv via NASA satellite. They sure fallen far down from the original idea of being an top-flight educational channel. To becoming an cable network with some of the most trashy reality shows around!
Is this really the heartland? Someone please hold me. I’m scared. Update: I figured out what I really don’t like. The household seems to revolve around the youngest in the house. This is disturbing.
I've noticed that about any/all of the Toddler in Tiara families. Unhealthy fixation, especially for the child who begins to think it deserves that kind of attention to everyone. They start to believe that those tiaras are really worth something.
Sure, I want to see this show! These folks are the 'real' obama addicts. I want to get in their heads and see what the world looks like through their eyes..
If I come across it I'll probably stop and see what it's all about but no will not put it on my weekly schedule.
I will admit I have watched Toddlers and Tiaras though. It's amazing what some of these crazed parents do to a 4 year old. Rather scary.
Dear Lord help us all!
One more thing.Too many people from other parts of the country, that watch this program. Are going to assume that all other Southerners (or at least people from GA) act like this nutty family.Much as people in the 60's thought that Southerners acted like the characters from the Beverly Hillbillies!
All responsible and outstanding marksmen God fearing Christians with high moral standards Rags to riches story as only America can provide Hard working, clean, honest to a fault Know how to survive in the harshest of conditions ie can make soap from fat, grow food, hunt food, can food, etc.
Looking back on it....(I should tell you that I've probably watched more of this show than most) The Clampett's usually ended up looking like the smart ones, Mr. Drysdale's wife Margaret was frequently the one who wound up eating crow (sometimes literally!) in the episodes.
The true message of the series is "don't judge a book by it's cover".
Mr. Drysdale, the banker with dollar signs in his eyes, had a genuine fondness for the Clampett's, Miss Jane, Drysdale's secretary not only genuinely liked them, she had a huge crush on Jethro!
Many of the storylines dealt with snooty Beverly Hills types who were put off by Jed and his family because they talked and looked different. When they found out that Jed was worth millions they suddenly became the biggest ass kissing schmoozers in the world. That inevitably backfired on them.
Donna Douglas made us all want to wear tied up checkered shirts and pedal pusher jeans! When she started wearing peasant style necklines, so did all the girls I went to school with.

NOPE .. not a chance ..
NOT even if my life depended on sitting there to hear that mess ..
I'd rather fall head first into a beehive.
