Of course I would go. If you are invited to someone's wedding, that's an indication that you are, in some way, important to that person. Who would refuse to go to the wedding of someone to whom they are important?
I was best man at a gay wedding a couple of years ago. Or maybe I was matron of honor - I didn't ask. In any case, of course I went, and I brought all three of my children. What did I tell them? I told them that Uncle John was getting married, so they should comb their hair and shine their shoes and get ready for a great celebration. Children aren't born bigots. You have to teach them that. If you don't teach it, they'll grow up just fine.
Would you ever go to a gay wedding? If invited.

What if out of the blue you get an invitation to a gay wedding? A man marrying another man or a woman getting married to another woman? Is it something you would have to discuss with your kids if you took them with to a reception?

As for discussing it with the kids... well they're not kids any more but they were taught that it's better to show commitment than playing the field regardless of what's in your pants.
It's not much different from a heterosexual wedding. The only real difference is that homosexual individuals are being wed and the figure on the cake is two grooms or two brides..
Those are the only discernible differences betwixt the two.
.
But: FREE FOOD! haha just kidding
I find the whole Gay thing boring as hell now----I wouldn't go again.
