Would you ever go to a gay wedding? If invited.

What if out of the blue you get an invitation to a gay wedding? A man marrying another man or a woman getting married to another woman? Is it something you would have to discuss with your kids if you took them with to a reception?
You!

Of course I would go. If you are invited to someone's wedding, that's an indication that you are, in some way, important to that person. Who would refuse to go to the wedding of someone to whom they are important?

I was best man at a gay wedding a couple of years ago. Or maybe I was matron of honor - I didn't ask. In any case, of course I went, and I brought all three of my children. What did I tell them? I told them that Uncle John was getting married, so they should comb their hair and shine their shoes and get ready for a great celebration. Children aren't born bigots. You have to teach them that. If you don't teach it, they'll grow up just fine.

Of course. If I was invited to a wedding I would assume I know the person well enough that they would like me there. All I need to tell my children is what I've told them so far. There are different kinds of families and sometimes a man marries a man or a woman marries a woman just like a man and a woman get married. We have a church that openly welcomes all, so to us it's not a big deal. We believe in showing love to everyone.

Not at all. I would take them, and they would be happy. As would I. I hope I get the chance to do that.

No, I'm for their rights but not calling it 'marriage'. Going would make my a hypocrite and I'll leave the hypocrisy to liberals, they really know how to go about it.

No, that would make me a hypocrite. I don't condone gay 'marraige', a civil partnership is a declaration of affection between two adults, what is wrong with that?

At this point, probably not. I'd have to travel atleast 1000 miles to get to the nearest state where gay marriage is allowed.

As long as I knew the people involved! I wouldn't just turn up uninvited.

As for discussing it with the kids... well they're not kids any more but they were taught that it's better to show commitment than playing the field regardless of what's in your pants.

Since I do photography as a hobby/freelance profession, I go to whatever wedding hires me. I have photographed many homosexual weddings.

It's not much different from a heterosexual wedding. The only real difference is that homosexual individuals are being wed and the figure on the cake is two grooms or two brides..

Those are the only discernible differences betwixt the two.

If I knew the person. If I don't know, then I might decline because I don't want to make it awkward between me and your family.
But: FREE FOOD! haha just kidding

I have five grand-children, so my kids have their own views on gay weddings. I'm still a little intrigued by that kind of commitment, but I would be honored by the invitation.

Never turned down a friend, yet. They are gay, not contagious. Don't agree with the lifestyle, but then I don't have to live with them, either.
