Would you be able to live without music?

Music is the only thing that has kept me sane inside insanity through my years. The world is a harsh, cruel place. Music usually keeps peace and love flowing.

Except for rap. That's mostly just about shootings and killing people, plus fighting and drugs.

I love all kinds, but I would love everyone's opinion on this.

Would you be able to love without music? I know I wouldn't.

Hells NO !!!! Music is my life and nothing can take it from me when I listen to it all day everyday. Id be heartbroken without it. I don't think life would be cmlpete if music wasn't around. It keeps me going, and the world spinnng

Of course not.

My family is muscial. I remember when I was a kid my Dad and Mom would play trumpet and piano duets. I played French Horn in high school. My husband plays drums and my kid sing and do a variety of musical things. Even songs I sung to my kids as babies have special meanings. I respond to music just as I do to art, emotionally.

as long as I have my imagination and the ability to mentally create I could care less about music. It's bubble gum for the mind and really serves not one bit of use. If you are using music to shelter yourself from the harsh realities of this world...of this life....then you really need to reassess your emotional well being and your sense of worth

Music is one of the things that keeps me most at peace and happy. When i hear it i want to sing and to dance, i love it. To me "Rap" is not music at all just talking and not singing.

Music gives meaning to life. it lets people express themselves and its there for anyone, whenever they feel depressed or angered, or when they need something to pump them up. music is necessary!

But life would be horrible and boring. I'd probably end up killing myself.

And about rap - I used to think so too. Then I started listening to nerdcore, which is rap with great word play all about nerdy things like technology, computers, movies, things like that. Look up "MC Frontalot".
