With "Tudors" star Henry Cavill locked in as the next Superman, rumors about who will play his Lois Lane are flying, and precariously topping the list of rumored successors is none other than Kristen Stewart.

According to an insider at What'sPlaying, an Australian news site, Stewart's name has been tossed around Warner Bros. production offices for a couple of weeks now. However, the same insider thinks her chances are slim, given her age and how many options the young actress has on her table at the moment.

More likely contenders include "Blade: Trinity" star Jessica Biel and "Sherlock Holmes" actress Rachel McAdams. Both women are sexy, sassy and close enough in age to Cavill, 27.

What'sPlaying also reports that Dianna Agron ("Glee") and Malin Akerman ("Watchmen") have been rumored to play Superman's love interest, but like Stewart, Agron seems a little young for the part, though she has at least auditioned.

Hell no. I think that Olivia Wilde would be good since she's on the rise currently and y'know, she actually has some acting ability where Stewart is...lacking exponentially.

I like the tomboyish look but it was kinda hard to find a good picture. In the movie though both her and Dakota Fanning looked great.

Oh Nononononono! Oh god no. Come on, Lois is like one of the strongest females in the DCU (Personality wise, she has Supes for strong-arming). I would be very unhappy if they picked someone with a wishy-washy attitude. Lois Lane is a a hard-hitting reporter, not a cocktail-waitress! They need to pick someone who can banter and be sarcastic, as well as very intelligent. I would like to see a new face, because no one I can think of can embody her at the moment. She's Superman's love interest for God's sake! Well, I think Erica Durance from Smallville does a good job,

Kristen Stewart can't act that good. I can act just like her role as Bella Swan (it's not that hard, just involves a lot of stuttering and hesitations....) Heck, I could ever play Kristen Stewart better than Kristen Stewart! (not bragging) I'd go with Jennfier Love Hewitt. She was great in the Ghost Whisperer. (If I could have Robert Pattinson... I think I would be happy for the rest of my life. Hell, I'd do the sex scenes with Robert for free! ;D)
