Rumors have been flying that "Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson is a front-runner to play Anastasia Steele in the super-sexy "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie. But producers Dana Brunetti and Mike De Luca took to Twitter to deny that any casting has taken place.

"All of the rumors on #FiftyShades are just that - rumors. No one has been cast in any role. We have to get a writer and director first," Brunetti wrote. "No one's been cast or even approached yet, all just rumors. writer and director first," De Luca added.

Hmm ... Emma is actually an inspired choice to play Ana. She's 22 -- about the same age as young, virginal Anastasia. And she has a wholesome, innocent look about her -- just like Ana. Do you think Emma Watson should take the part? Or should she stay far away from this sure-to-be-sleazy movie?

Meh. It's a matter of preference. I wouldn't call her ugly, but I certainly don't find her the least bit attractive. And, in the first picture, her arms look really hairy...

Yes!

If you'd take the time to read the books- As I have- you'd understand that there's isn't as BDSM as you may have been led to believe.

I don't care what anyway says about it (or to me about the books) I love the series and have read each book plenty of times. The story is good and Anastasia is a very realistic character to me. We'd be the same age and her reactions to Christian's past is probably what I'd do. Be disgusted, confused, and want to flee.

She would be good in almost any movie, I am not familiar with 50 shades of grey have not read it yet. And I have no plans to read it.

I would strongly advise her to stay away from it. The book SUCKED. It was pretty bad smut and I absolutely HATED Anastasia. She was stupid.

I hated Twilight as much as I hated this book.

Why would she want to star in such a sleazy role? Its not even a romantic movie with a bit of porn, its porn without plot. Or really Plot What Plot sort of thing.

I absolutely loved the books, but I think Emma's a little TOO innocent to play Ana. I know Ana started out innocent and everything, but I REALLY don't think Emma should be in that kind of movie... I suppose that's just the Potterhead coming out. I'll always see her as that little 12 year old girl from the first Harry Potter. Whatever she chooses to do, I'm sure she'll be a huge success at it!
