"The X Factor" has been tossing around a lot of names following the abrupt ousting of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. Whitney Houston is obviously out of the question, and Janet Jackson had to back out because she had prior commitments. The latest name attached to the position is Britney Spears, and it sounds like she's interested, but there's a big gap between their offer and her request. According to E! News, she wants $16 million. "X Factor" only offered $10 million.
A couple of weeks ago, creator and judge Simon Cowell said in a conference, "I'm fascinated by Britney. The fact that she's one of the most talked about — not just pop stars but people — in the world today, means that you've got this star power. This girl has resilience. I would think that if she's managed to sustain a family, a career, which is tough, this would be a walk in the park. I would be fascinated to hear what she has to say. She's still hot, she's still having hit records and she's still controversial. There's a reason for that." Do you think Britney Spears would be a good addition to "X Factor"?

+17I don't think people should be able to judge someone on their talents unless they are talented in that area too, and considering Brittany spears is a horrible singer and sounds like a baby when she sings then she definantly does not deserve the right to judge others on their singing skills
But, my point is that the same IQ level that are her fans are the same IQ level that watches X FACTOR!
If they need extra judges, Taylor Swift should be hired!
Kanye West was considered, but he indicated that he would be shouting out an affirmative vote for Beyonce after every round.
That being said, here's the only britney-related song I enjoy. It's worth your time trust me
