While Battleship is moving from the coffee table to the computer screen, Blizzard Entertainment is porting two of its most popular franchises, StarCraft and World of Warcraft, from the computer screen to the coffee table. According to Yahoo!, USAopoly is planning to release a StarCraft-themed version of Risk and a World of Warcraft-themed version of Monopoly this summer. They won't be cheap -- $40 each -- but fans have plenty to be excited about.

World of Warcraft fans have the chance to vote on which pieces should be included in the Monopoly game. Currently the Corehound Pup, Murky, and Doomhammer are winning, but there are seven more options to choose from. For the StarCraft version of Risk, players will be able to play as one of the game's three races -- Terran, Zerg, and Protoss -- as well as a handful of heroes from the game. Are you excited about World of Warcraft and StarCraft getting their own board games?

There already is 1 board games for Warcraft/World of Warcraft. I think I saw Starcraft have a board game also. Just go to the blizzard store and you will see them. There is also 1 card/board game for WoW.

well your the first I've heard of many of the people I've seen malnurished people who put that game in front of them selves and their children. wow should reward people who aren't on all the time instead of those who are.

Here's to hoping for a legitimate Fallout 3 Monopoly, where your money is bottle caps, your properties come pre-destroyed, and if the game isn't going your way, you can just detonate the nuke in Megaton.
