Bieber Fever has resulted in hearing loss for one woman, or so she claims. An Oregon woman has filed a $9.2 million lawsuit against the teeny bopper, alleging that the ear-piercing screams at one of his concerts two years ago permanently damaged her hearing, The Associated Press reports.

justin bieber

According to the suit, the damage occurred when Bieber climbed into a heart-shaped gondola and was pulled over the crowd, causing a "frenzy of screams." Well, what do you expect at a Justin Bieber concert?

Stacey Wilson Betts, who attended the concert with one of her daughters, is seeking money for medical expenses, pain and suffering and loss of quality of life. She claims to have hearing loss; severe tinnitus, or noise or ringing in the ears; and hyperacusis, a sensitivity to sound, the AP reports. Do you buy her story?

This reminds me of the guy who sued McDonalds because he burned his mouth with hot coffee. Hey lady; no one cares that you're a fu@king retard, and that you've given birth to a girl who apparently has no taste in music or ability to pick a suitable role model for herself. I sincerely hope that a tornado comes and demolishes your trailer park along with all the inbred swine that live there.

There are cases that will serve as ample precedent for this and it will be thown out of court. We assume certain risks in life. You cannot go to a baseball game and sue if you get hit by a foul ball. You knew and understood the risks and accepted them in attending the event. The person with the hearing loss could have covered her ears, she could have moved to a location that is less loud, and she had every opportunity to leave the event. The case will be dismissed!

Wouldn't it be classic if the judge said, "I can't hear you. Case dismissed."

She could have worn ear plugs if she wanted to. Another example of stupid Americans not being responsible for their own actions and having to have someone else to blame for their own stupidity.

God knows I'm not a Bieber fan, but this woman's lawsuit is ridiculous. As many have said, she's just looking for a payday at his expense, and counting on his people to settle so he doesn't have to be inconvenienced. She should be embarrassed at the transparency of her actions, but of course these days apparently no one has any shame when trying to grab their 15 seconds of fame.

This is a bunch of crap. The venue was packed. What is this woman, part dog, that her hearing is so sensitive she was the only one affected? And please, in the 2 years that went by before the lawsuit countless things could have happened to cause her problems. That is if she actually has any hearing issues. More than one doctor has been caught in fraud scams. At her first court appearance she should be required to pay all the legal costs of both sides along with a fine for a frivolous time wasting lawsuit.

Courts need to start clamping down on people who try to use lawsuits for the sole purpose of generating income.

Oh, of course. Another person trying to get rich from some stupid little thing. She went to a concert knowing there's going to be thousands of people who are screaming. Have you ever been to a concert before? It's suppose to be like that.

Two reasons, first she was not forced to go to the concert and since I am guessing that at some point in her life she has been to one she knows how loud they can get and should have brought ear plugs in case it started to get too loud for her. Second, this says she went 2 years ago ! If she had brought the suit within a couple of months then I probably would have believed her. This is just too long ago. A couple of months to get examined and treated by a doctor is reasonable. A couple of years sounds like planning time for a scam.

I don't care for Bieber but that's just a typical frivolous lawsuit. Also hearing loss generally isn't going to happen for 1 event unless it's something like being 5 feet away from a jet plane's motor.

We have become the most litigious society. What ever happened to personal responsibility? It wasn't his concert that was too loud, she is suing because of the screaming girls. How is that his fault? All she had to do was leave or move away from them.
