Bieber Fever has resulted in hearing loss for one woman, or so she claims. An Oregon woman has filed a $9.2 million lawsuit against the teeny bopper, alleging that the ear-piercing screams at one of his concerts two years ago permanently damaged her hearing, The Associated Press reports.

According to the suit, the damage occurred when Bieber climbed into a heart-shaped gondola and was pulled over the crowd, causing a "frenzy of screams." Well, what do you expect at a Justin Bieber concert?

Stacey Wilson Betts, who attended the concert with one of her daughters, is seeking money for medical expenses, pain and suffering and loss of quality of life. She claims to have hearing loss; severe tinnitus, or noise or ringing in the ears; and hyperacusis, a sensitivity to sound, the AP reports. Do you buy her story?

It's not his fault that she decided to go to his concert. They gave ear plugs for a reason so you don't loss your hearing. At concerts people screams for their favorite artist/band and they even whilst and if you can't handle that than don't go to the concert period, and the same goes when it comes to live sporting events.

To find out who is at fault we need to find whether JB forced her to buy the ticket or if she opted to buy a ticket. And also if the noise produced was part of the entertainment or by the fans. She a stupid person

Yes

Two years may be a long time to wait, however, the Casey Anthony trial, and many others werent' brought to court for 2+ years. Other factors play in including finding and hiring a good lawyer, etc. on top of that any concert is subject to regulations to prevent hearing loss, few people walk in saying "i might not be able to hear anything after i walk out of here." in addition $9.2 million isn't truely that much when you think about it. (for example the US federal debt is $1.63+ trillion times as much as that. So this lady has every right to sue.

And I doubt a Beiber show can be louder than a heavy metal concert, of which many people attend, and come out unscathed.

That is right up there with suing McDonalds for their coffee. I have hearing loss form playing in bands and it is very common. I guess I should sue all the places I played and all the bands I played in. Makes about as much sense.

If she has a daughter old enough to enjoy beeber then she knows what concerts are all about. elvis. the beetles. michael jackson. concerts aren't meant for reading books at! she's only after money that doesn't belong to her. she didn't work for that money he did.

Its the fault of the facility hosting the event if it failed to adequately post and warn attendee's of the known dangers and potential risk of injuries.

Everyone that attends concerts should know that it's going to be loud. It is not Justin's fault that she lost her hearing. For one thing......has a doctor proven that her hearing loss was solely caused by the concert or if there may have been something else that factored into it. I believe she is just money hungry and wants to blame a rich celebrity, so that she can get what she wants. Maybe....if she does win the lawsuit.....everyone who has ever attended a concert should go back and sue the person or persons giving the concert for any problems they may have now. Why did she wait two years to blme him?

Well, what do you expect? If you knew your ears can't handle it, don't go to the concert! Or get ear plugs! Or just watch from the back of the venue and not with the crowd of teenage girls who you KNOW will be screaming!

She should be suing all the fans that pulled him over, causing him to scream, not him. Or maybe she should be suing the venue for not providing sufficient security to prevent the fans from getting to him. This is yet another example of how stupid America is becoming.
