Will you see them? Star Wars Prequels Set 3D Re-Releases For 2013

3D = an additional 3-5 dollars for a disappointing experience. I like Star Wars, but its not worth the movie.

I doubt that I will decide to spend $60.00 per film for my family of four to go re-watch the lesser of the Star Wars series, just so I can see them in 3D on a big screen again. Nowadays, I need that money for food and gas! In the '80's & '90's, my sister & I would go to a movie we loved over & over again, because the matinee theater prices were $4.00. Now, it's so expensive to see a movie in theaters, we're lucky if we go see it once, never mind the even more expensive requirement to see it in 3D!

NO DON"T LIKE IT

I am a huge Star Wars fan. I was 7 when the first one came out. The story has captured my imagination from that age until now. I thoroughly love the stories and the mythology surrounding it.

However, I will not waste money to see re-releases of them in 3D. That will add absolutely nothing to the story. If there were new content, possibly. But I will not go to the theater just because someone went in and added 3d effects after the filming. In my opinion, it is just a way to dilute the story, to market it and try to squeeze more money out of consumers without actually putting a new product on the shelf. Additionally, the prequels were nowhere near as good as the original 3 (story-wise). Lucas focused too much on effects and lost the story.

Not interested. I saw the first one when I was young and that was enough.
