Microsoft finally announced an approximate release date for the upcoming sequel to its best-selling combat series. "Halo 4" is scheduled to come out on November 6, more than five years after the release of the last game in the series. Developers expect it to be an enormous success, and given the success of "Halo 3" ($300 million in its first week), there's a good chance they're right.

According to The New York Daily News, Microsoft Studio Vice President Phil Spencer said, "We are beginning a new saga with Halo 4 and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of Halo games and experiences. With "Halo 4" leading the charge, we are confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history." Will you partake in some "Halo 4"?

I've alway been a fan of the genera, Not to sure of MC though. In any case, i would play it, because i want to see what 343 Studios does with the story line.

sorry, I hate Halo... (not because of the gameplay) but because of story, online community, and genre (yeah, not a big fan of FPS games in general either)... I would watch others play it and see if its any better... but I doubt it will... so leave me out of it.

Im not a fan of Halo but I do want to try it out a least but I rather play something else like Assassin's Creed III, or Borderlands 2.

As a diligent University student, I will be playing this game, in fact, this game will form not only my raison d'etre, but take up most of my time too :P

Halo is awesome. I may have some reservations about 343 but I don't see why I shouldn't play it.
Too bad it's only on Xbox, it would sell much better if it was on pc and ps3 as well…

Halo 4 is a new chance for a new group of developers to perhaps introduce new aspects and storylines to the incredible halo serries. The only thing I am in question of in this review is how many of the voters actually played halo to begin with so we can better correct the skew of this poll.
