We know, it's getting a little bit difficult trying to keep up with all these award shows, but the American Music Awards are promising more than just a few trophies and celebrity appearances -- the AMAs this year are all about the performances.
Sunday night's AMA broadcast is listing planned performances from some of the best pop acts in the business, from Rihanna and Christina Aguilera to The Black Eyed Peas and Ne-Yo.
Big names on the nomination front include rapper Eminem with five nominations and Justin Bieber with four. Country artist Lady Antebellum also nabbed five nominations. But the ceremony doesn't stop there.
Digital Spy also anticipates performances from Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and Enrique Iglesias, who will be performing his naughty new club single, "Tonight," with rapper Ludacris.
Even the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block are set to make an appearance, just to remind viewers with pop is all about.
The American Music Awards will air on ABC this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.

HELL YA I'M WATCHING
thats all i gotta say
Long and kind of boring.
Anyway there are no current artists that I care to see or hear.Autotune gives me a headache
I don't get why people let the mainstream radio and other media control what they listen to. All you have to do is listen to college radio, go on last .fm, or read a music magazine and you'll find this whole new "world" of underground music.
The AMA is nothing but an Ego Stroker for talentless people that dub others recordings.
