I've gone to movies with violent crowds before.

But I go in a manner in which I can defend myself, unlike the innocent victims of Colorado.

Our government needs to allow us to defend ourselves.

For fear of copycats, I would not be able to enjoy the film; if someone in front of me got out of their seat, I'd hit the deck

I never planned on going to see it in the first place, Batman movies don't interest me.

I thought about not going.... But then I talked to my friend about it and he says that if it does happen to happen here for me just to run..... So I think I'll take my chances.

I totally agree. Unfortunately, these horrific acts of violence are becoming too common!

So turns out he is a devout Christian. I have to wait to see what political side he belongs to.

Well what if you got shot before you could pull out a gun? Or you both get into a gun fight? Sometimes bringing out a weapon antagonizes a killer and exacerbates the situation. Guns don't solve everything.

Let me see if I have this right. In addition to being heavily armed he had set off tear gas cannisters, had his gas mask, and was wearing a flak jacket. But if you had been there you would have pulled out your panty pistol and taken care of business. Did I get it right?
