I've gone to movies with violent crowds before.

But I go in a manner in which I can defend myself, unlike the innocent victims of Colorado.

Our government needs to allow us to defend ourselves.

I don't go to the movies but if I did, it wouldn't make me avoid it.
We all have an exit time from this life, we just don't know when
it will happen or in what way.

The shooting was an accident that could of been prevented but c'mon who would of really known that was going to happen. The movie is a great one and I couldn't of missed it.

All my prayers and blessings to the Colorado victims of the shooting.

I did not have any plans to go see it before,
and the shootings make no difference to me about the batman movie.

if any thing, the shootings would have me avoid all movie theathers.

You're chances of dying from this sort of incident, or the chance of it to begin with is so low that it is not worth considering or worth fearing. Its like with sharks. Your chance of being attacked or dying is so low, that again, its not worth fearing.

Thoughts and Prayers to those that were there and the familys that lost someone. But people didnt stop going to school because of Columbine, why would you avoid the movie, what would be the point?

A lot of good that will do... the guy in Colorado, went in the normal way... Then ran out the BACK door - and came back in the back door blasting away!

No - - That won't do a thing except keep people like me from going to the movies, which would cause quite a drop in revenue to an industry that is already struggling.

Although the shooting was a tragic event and like any decent person I consider anyone who could be capable of commuting such a act to be sick, that being said we have to remember that they chose to do what they did and the film itself is just fiction and not related. He might of hid behind a Bane type mask but that's all it was a mask.

The deranged ass in Aurora has nothing to do with the movie. He lives is some sort of fantasyland. I hope he burns in hell!!!

Sadly thats what it has done. But to avoid it because of the incident would cause a possible blockbuster to flop. Im sure the people involved in the movie will be feeling pretty uncomfortable at the moment.

An isolated incident by a single psychopath should not make people afraid to go to the theater...

I'll go, but you always have to wait for the crowd to die down.

Yeah, I went there. I went there bought a t-shirt and came back. I have a sick and insensitive sense of humor. So sue me.

If I have the money or a free ticket. Maybe I can sneak in. Now I'm really curious. The last movie I was able to see at the theatre was "A Beautiful Mind". More recenlty they told me they'll let me in at an upcoming movie event in town. B

my sister and i ran a canteen at the local cinemas and there was an aboriginal boy, really guiet boy, he never really spoke. he kept trying to get in but had no money, so we told him if he stayed around after the movie and help us clean the theatre (he hung around till the movies finished anyway) we would get him in for free the next week. the boy watched so many movies.. he loved it. but still never spoke. lol

I didn't go to the Who flick. I worked in concessions as a second job once. It was a horrible job. I have yet to be able to touch another pop corn kernel. It was all so filthy. And this was at the best movie theater in town. I may get like the moron in your story though. I have to somehow endure incessant sleep. I can't seem to get rid of that great gift.
