The United States holds the all-time record for medals in the summer Olympics between 1896 and 2010. The United States also holds the record for the most Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
The Soviet Union (now defunct) comes a distant second with less than half the total medals of the USA. China, however, won the medal race in the 2008 games and poses a threat to America's dominance every four years. Do you think America will win this year?

We'll probably come second or third due to the home field advantage with China and Australia up there as well.
You know how much it will cost us to fly Barry over there so he can apologize for us ' Winning ' ..... screw it, lets just forfeit < s >
Sad that the US continues to decline in the main sports such as Track and Field, Swimming, etc. I assume that the US will be c. 40th in medals per capita, behind Australia, UK, Germany, Cuba, Bahamas, etc.
Just joking. A few years ago a bust of one of the founding fathers (who, ?)
It was given to someone by the President Bush ?!? Well on the bottom of the bust of this
Statue given as an American honor, said Made in China. " we are number 1 " !?!?
