Facebook has made it official: Its users will no longer get a vote in how the giant social network handles their personal information. And the votes that they did cast over the past week rejecting Facebook's proposed changes to privacy policies will not count.
Facebook said Tuesday it has already adopted the policy changes. An external auditor reviewed and confirmed the final results, Facebook said. Nearly 669,000 Facebook users voted, most of them opposed to the policy changes, including taking away their right to vote on policy changes.

Let's hope it goes under!
Which is just stupid. "Anonymous" trolls will still be trolls even if you put their name out, unless someone goes and kills them. See?: http://www.cad-comic.com/cad/...
I just try not to discuss sensitive information and hope it'll never be illegal to have openly questioned the government in the past.
Edit: And may I remind you that deleting your Facebook account is pointless. It'll just make it so that YOU can no longer access your information. Zuckerberg and friends still can.
I knew from the beginning that fecesbook was a borderline criminal organisation.
People constantly rage about government intrusion and rights violation, but they don't give a thought about corporations that are even worse.
The difference? People can vote to decide who runs the government. They have no such control over corporations.
He never has. The man uses people and throws them away. That's how he got Facebook in the first place. He's been doing it to Facebook users all along.
Google+ has as many problems, if not more, as Facebook. And neither cares about the concerns of their users unless it prevents them from being sold to advertisers.
While there will be a great hue and cry from a few vocal users, only a few thousand (if that many) of the millions of users will jump ship. Their loss will have no effect on Facebook whatsoever.
Welcome to life as a commodity, internet users.
