Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, the former Kate Middleton, is pregnant, expecting a first baby with husband Prince William! The news came via St. James' Palace on Monday, with a caveat that Catherine, 30, has been hospitalized with a severe form of morning sickness that comes with extreme, persistent vomiting. She's at King Edward VII Hospital in Central London.

It will be big news because the child will be heir to the throne after William. To those of you who are sour over a bit of happy news about a baby can take a running jump and leave the rest of us to enjoy it. It is far better to hear something happy than keep hearing of nasty things.

Actually I shouldn't have said that. When they said bigger I thought they meant a bigger baby. I agree with Jan; news about about the birth of a royal baby is happy news compared to all the corruption and dishonesty in Washington politics.

Kate must be in danger of miscarrying. Most pregnant women don't have to stay in a hospital for severe vomiting. If this was any other woman she most likely would have miscarried by now. Apparently the hospital is doing everything to prevent a miscarriage. Don't celebrate yet.

I wish them well, but I really don't care. It's not like she the first woman on earth to ever get pregnant. The media should leave them alone and stop hounding them. Remember what happened to his mom!

Don't celebrate yet. Most pregnant women don't stay in a hospital for such severe vomiting. There could be danger of a miscarriage, hospital is trying to prevent. Kate does not look like the baby making type.

It still baffles me why people care about Royalty in the first place. These people are not special at all. The world is a better place without royalties, it's a stupid, unjust, outdated, unfair, unreasonable form of putting talent-less people on a pedestal for no good reason. In this aspect, the UK is such a backwards country.

That's true, about 2 billion people watched her funeral on tv. Mainly because there were more media outlets to tune into her funeral; there was a heavier population of people around the world to tune watch her funeral and communist countries like the Soviet Union who wouldn't allow state televison to cover her wedding to Charles no longer existed. One footnote- no member of British royalty ever visited the Soviet Union during it's 75 year existence.

That's interesting. The funeral was almost a history lesson because they explained all the buildings as the procession passed by.
