Nestle USA issued a voluntary recall of its Nesquik chocolate powder after being tipped off by an ingredient supplier of possible salmonella contamination. The Glendale-based company said it was calling back canisters of the product, which is mixed with milk to create a sweet drink, that were made in October and sold nationwide. Consumers should look for containers bearing an expiration date of October 2014.

No because I've been boycotting those corporate criminals for years along with Bristol Myers, Glaxo, Unigate, Abbott, and Wyeth. If your interested then check out why on: babymilkaction.org, infactcanada.ca, multinationalmonitor.org. As if the infant formula issue is not enough a large percentage of the coco in Nestle comes from none other than The Ivory Coast. Does the issue of Slave Labor ring a bell for anyone.

Of course not. Because of this of one ingredient one time from one supplier? I use lots of Nestle including bottled water; unrelated products!

I am on the Jenny Craig diet. I eat their packaged diet food every day. Jenny Craig is a part of Nestle.

From time of ingestion, the incubation period for salmonella is 12-72 hours and b/c yours expires in 12-14, I think you will be fine. :)

wouldnt buy Hershey products after the way the screwed their employees. Let them think they were getting an early retirement at age 55 then when they went to collect their retirement they were told they werent eligible for retirement until they were 65. Get their jobs back....NOT A CHANCE.

sounds like more over reacting if it was a confirmed case then maybe but even with all the health scares I've lived through I've never changed my eating habits because of them
