When I was 12, I wasn't like that. I listened to Asking Alexandria and Motionless in White and OCCASIONALLY Taylor Swift because I needed a break from other music. Don't classify all of one age.

It's about her seeing 'Red' over past relationship challenges in her life. If she's in a good place right now in her life she needs to let the past stay in the past and write pretty music about right now the present, because she's a beautiful soul on this earth.
