She probably won't. she seemed quite happy with this set of movies. now if only she could have left well enough alone and leave the host alone. *sigh* i loved the twilight books and found the movies... semi painfull... but the host is my baby... untouched... so pure... and now.. hollywood is going to rape it repeatedly and pimp it out >.> some things should just remain sacred... she should have left that one alone

I'm all for a remake. I think the new ones need to include Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I don't know, but unlike most people, I kind of liked the books. Now, I am against the books and movies though, but only because of the fans. They have blown things out of control. I am not a crazy Twilight fan. I think the books were enjoyable. On my page, you'll see that I am part of the group WAT(Writers Against Twilight) and wallpaper that expresses my dislike for the movies. I think they failed with Edward when it came to casting. I don't really like Kristen Stewart in Twilight, but I think she did great in Snow White and the Huntsmen. There are many dislikes I do have with the books, though. I think her picture of a vampire is blurry. They are are not nice little creatures who frolic in the meadows and glitter in the sunlight. They are full-blown demons in mythology, and they should be written like that. That's a true vampire book I want to see. I do believe that Meyer copied her book idea off of the Vampire Diaries. The similarities are there.

Yeah, it's what happened it Twilight from Edwards poing of view. It tells of what happened when he disappeared in the beginning of the movie and so on.

Actually she wouldnt redo this movie from this book alone, she herself considers it the same as twilight, just with a more in dept look at Edward. i wish she would redo the movies though.... i think the first batch were flawed and retarded... they didn't do the books justice

I was actually thinking of something related to it. But not exactly midnight sun. In that book, they talked about the time that Edward was in Alaska. I got this small pop up in my mind that she would try to make a movie and/or book out of the lives of the vampires in Alaska.
But probably not.

Thing is, a director has their own artistic ego that interferes with the source material. If ya knew the movie was the same as the book, why would you watch the movie? The cast WAS extremely bad though, and would not fare well in something, anything besides this series. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, not bad for Stewart, but Pattison is having a lot of trouble holding his own on screen.

i agree with you 100%. there was allot of input from the directors and the cast that made the movie far different from the books. and the cast WAS horrible... Robert Pattinson should not be aloud to act >.> and yea Kstew wasnt that bad in snow white... even though i still think she could have used some more work. she barely had any lines...

Agreed on the Kstew needs more acting lessons thing. Also, am not above seeing Pattinson be removed from the A lists. What a joke of a leading man.

From what I've heard, the movies are good representations of the actual books.. Why would they remake them? Seems to me that remaking bad movies is only a good idea when the original works they're derived from were worth reading in the first place, and not shallow drivel with empty characters (and sparkly vampires).

I haven't seen any of the twilight movies or read the books. I just don't give a damn about them. But, I really don't see any artistic reason why you would reboot a series shortly after you completed it.

i highly doubt it. Atleast not few a few decades.
Besides, while i question some of the casting cohices (e.g. Robert Pattinson) for the most part i think they'd struggle to find new actors, and i doubt the previous ones would like to do the same role again.
